Crafting Decks, Cultivating Trust

At Swift River Builders, quality starts with people. Led by family, built by experts, we believe every board, beam, and detail should reflect integrity, experience, and your unique vision.

Craftsmanship Rooted in Family Values with purpose and design

For us, building is personal. We’re a family-run company that measures success in two ways: the strength of every deck we craft and the friendships we build with the people who trust us. With more than 30 years of combined experience, our team blends generational carpentry know-how, Pacific Northwest innovation, and true Rhode Island grit to deliver projects that endure the coastal elements and create lasting memories for our clients.

Leadership

Aben Lariviere

Co-Founder | Master Carpenter

Aben learned the craft of carpentry at his father’s side, absorbing every detail of traditional New England building practices. Over the years he honed his skills across the United States, even launching a successful construction company in the Pacific Northwest before returning home. Today, Aben leads with calm precision, a laser-sharp eye for detail, and a passion for creating outdoor spaces that can weather anything Rhode Island throws their way.
